Action Item is a documentary that explores themes of paralysing
anxiety experienced by larger and larger numbers of youth. It gives an insight into the experiences of the new generation
of workers who are burdened by the never-ending chase for productivity. The slow-paced nature of the documentary juxtaposes
the stressful reality of our everyday fast-paced lives, and gives the viewers time to sit with the artistic shots and introspective
monologues of the narrators. Young people are rearing to oppose the societal expectation and call for reflection and detoxication
of the mind that has been burnt out by the unachievable goals set by the collective.
