In einem Feuerwerk von digitalen Selbstportraits wurden Hunderte von idyllischen, peinlichen und schrecklich verstörenden Selfies zu einer einzigen Komposition arrangiert. Ein schauerliches Grinsen, das den Abgrund menschlicher Existenz überstrahlt.
BLACK BOXES REFLECT THE BRIGHTEST Thomas De Boer
Gruppen von Männern ohne Gesichter, bekannte Narrative, Parolen. Die konstruierte Natur der Erzählungen, die das Bild des „Anderen“ reproduziert, wird aufgedeckt und dabei hinterfragt. Dabei wird die Macht der Distanz und Repräsentation in der Online-Welt erforscht.
PRISONER OF SOCIETY Rati Tsiteladze
Die Mutter sorgt sich, wünscht der Tochter Glück und Sicherheit. Der Vater nennt Adelina George; Adelina existiere nicht. Rati Tsiteladze zeigt eine Eltern-Kind Beziehung, die unter dem Konflikt zwischen der Identität der Tochter und der traditionellen Erwartungshaltung beider Elternteile leidet.
