Eine sengende schwüle Hitze erfasst Rio de Janeiro. Doch nicht nur das Wetter heizt die
Stadt auf. Es herrschen klassenkampfähnliche Zustände, provoziert durch unrechtmäßige Enteignungen, die die Gesellschaft spalten.
Ganze Nachbarschaften werden ihrer Geschichte und ihrer Zukunft beraubt. Mittendrin die Anwältin Ana, Betroffene und Beistand
zugleich. Während die Stadt zerfällt, befällt Ana eine merkwürdige Krankheit. In einer artifiziellen Inszenierung verarbeitet
der Film die dramatischen Geschehnisse rund um die Olymipade in Brasilien 2016. (JPi)
