WAITING FOR THE CARNIVAL

Every year more than 20 million pairs of jeans are produced in the make-shift factories of Toritama, the "Capital of Jeans". The locals work non-stop for hours, proud to be the masters of their own time, until Carnival – the only leisure moment of the year that allows them to transgress the logic of turbo capitalism.
